• Education: An effort to educate the community about issues revolving around the so-called Global War on Terror
• Twinning: A project suggestion to twin London with an Iraqi community
• Directions for the peace movement in London: Thoughts on what to do next

Education

• Idea: There should be a concerted, continuous effort to educate Londoners about what is happening in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the US
• The ambitious plan of 'once event a month' was decided upon as a starting point that may or may not be attainable.
• Possible talks:
  • Romeo Dallaire

Twinning

• Twin London with an Iraqi city

Matthew Behrens

• Behrens will be speaking at the Social Justice Now! conference
•  ?? Press conference?
• We are looking for a venue for a community presentation. Possibilities:
  • Carling heights arena
  • YMCA
  • Old Victoria pub
  • Tolpuddle (Beth: how do we book this?)
  • CAW Hall
• Publicity: Flyer production, etc.

Directions for the future

• Construct a wiki for:
  • Information
  • Handbooks (civil disobedience, how to run an event, etc)
  • Planning (calendar, etc)
  • Public relations contacts
• Try to promote a peace-announcement mailing list at all events
